Ripley Caravan Park Site Etiquette

The following rules of occupation are for the good management of the Park and are for the benefit of all who use the Park.

  1. All new arrivals and visitors must report to reception and register their car number.
  2. All vehicles must be driven carefully on the Park and not exceeding the speed limit of 5mph.
  3. Vehicles must keep to authorised parking spaces and not be allowed to obstruct the roads.
  4. Vehicles must not arrive and leave the Park at unsociable hours. If you wish to leave before 7-30am, please check with reception where to Park.
  5. Only two vehicles per unit, unless arranged with reception.
  6. Large group bookings are not accepted. Every effort is made to accommodate you on a particular pitch if requested, but this cannot be guaranteed.
  7. Campers are responsible for keeping their pitch areas clean and tidy.
  8. Pitches are only available from 2pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 12 noon on the day of departure unless otherwise arranged.
  9. The Owner of a caravan is responsible for the conduct of all guests whilst at the Park, this is without exception.
  10. Noise must be kept to a minimum especially between the hours of 10pm and 8am.
  11. Pets are allowed at the Park Owners’ discretion. They must be kept under proper control.
  12. Dogs must be on a lead at any time on the Park Owners’ land and must not despoil the Park or cause nuisance to others. Accidents do happen; always clear up after your dog.
  13. If more than one dog it is by prior arrangement with the owners.
  14. Certain breeds we do not allow please check.
  15. All animals must be on a lead going through the fields to Ripley, this by kind permission of the local farmer.
  16. The Occupier is responsible for the cleanliness of the pitch.
  17. The area underneath the caravan must be kept clear.
  18. It is the Occupiers’ responsibility to see that household rubbish is deposited in the receptacles provided, and as much recycling to be carried out as possible.
  19. No ball games are allowed other than on the football / games play area.
  20. Bicycles must stay on roads and not be ridden around the shower block or between caravans. Bikes must have lights on when used in darkness.
  21. No skateboards or roller blades are allowed on the park.
  22. All land beyond the Park is privately owned and caravan owners are requested not to trespass on its boundaries, there are numerous public footpaths in the area.
  23. No commercial vehicles are allowed on the Park
  24. Clothes drying, rotary dryers when not in use must be retracted and covered or removed.
  25. No business of any description can be carried out on the Park.
  26. Barbecues are allowed but they must be raised off the ground and should not damage the grass.
  27. Abuse or damage to the toilet blocks, games room or play equipment will be considered a serious offence.
  28. Ensure young children are supervised when using the toilet blocks.
  29. Laundering and pot washing must not take place in the toilets/showers, as there are facilities for this on site.
  30. Washing may only be hung from a window drying rack and should be unobtrusive.
  31. Each occupier must provide a fire extinguisher inside the caravan. (Council Rule)
  32. All caravans must be fully insured. The owners will accept no liability whatsoever for loss or damage to the property of the Occupier or any member of his/her family, or any visitor to the Park.
  33. The shop is open daily, please check for opening times.
  34. No electric hoverboards, segway derived vehicles or electric scooters allowed please. These are Illegal on public access roads.
  35. No drones to be used on the Park, this includes versions which are less than 249g.

The above conditions are in place for the benefit of all our customers. Any persons who are not pre pared to abide by them will be asked to leave. Acceptance of these conditions is taken when booking in at reception. The proprietor reserves the right to refuse admission
